BIM (Building Information Management) is a modern method of creating and managing building data throughout the entire life cycle – from design, implementation, operation, renovation – to shutdown and removal.
Building information model is a set of interconnected digital information in protected and open formats, recording of graphic (2D, 3D) and non-graphic data about elements of the model. The data must be compatible in the software systems used, be accessible to users, project participants, and serve for modeling, preparation and implementation, operation, maintenance and building reconstruction. The interconnected information creates from the individual elements a virtual model of construction in terms of space, time and costs.
